Terminal Build Feed

A code-rendered Video Skill that pairs a command with its output and source status, keeping illustrative examples separate from recorded local evidence.

Two 20.4-second English command-and-output stories with explicit evidence status, plus a verified single-scene edit. 9:16 · 0:20

What you get

  • Six stable command-to-output scenes
  • Two original illustrative terminal briefs
  • Measured SVG layout, SRT captions and local audio support

You will need

  • Node.js 22+, FFmpeg/FFprobe and pinned HyperFrames 0.8.181
  • A safe English command brief with source status
  • Optional local Kokoro environment; silent output is supported

Good fit

  • Build checks, test handoffs and software walkthroughs
  • Commands whose output source matters as much as the result

Not for

  • Faking a command run or presenting illustrative output as evidence
  • Unsafe destructive commands or hidden credentials
  • Cloud media generation or copied terminal screenshots

You say

“Use Terminal Build Feed to explain a safe local command, its corresponding output and the evidence status. Mark illustrative output as not run, or provide a traceable source reference for recorded output.”

After installing, say something like this to your agent with your own topic and assets. It asks only for what is missing.

FAQ

Do I need an account?

Yes. Members Skills install from a signed-in FeedSkills account with an active Founding Membership.

Tested
Two 20.4-second 1080x1920 / 30 fps English example films and one single-scene edit were rendered with burned captions, measured DOM layouts and full-stream checks; both themes recorded 18 passes, 1 warning and 0 fails. The edit rerendered render-command and reused the other five scenes with native-frame proof; package check/create and DOM guard passed. Real-phone review and customer adoption remain separate.

Terminal Build Feed

Terminal Build Feed is a Members Skill for pairing a command with its output and evidence status. It can show a recorded result or a clearly labelled illustration; it does not execute commands while rendering.

Reviewed A/B previews

Both examples use six stable command-to-output scenes with measured layout, burned captions and SRT. Their illustrative output is explicitly marked as not run; the local edit changes one output scene.

Install and use

Install the approved member package with:

npx --yes --package=https://feedskills.com/downloads/feedskills-0.3.6.tgz feedskills install terminal-build-feed --agent codex

Copy examples/theme-a.json or examples/theme-b.json into a project outside the installed Skill. Supply a safe English command, output lines, result and source status; use recorded only with a traceable source reference, otherwise say illustrative and not run. Run project.mjs doctor, project.mjs check, project.mjs create and the generated render entry. Use local Kokoro for narration; node render.mjs --no-voice is an explicit silent export.

For a single-scene revision, keep scene ids and durations stable, edit one copied output scene, rerun the render and inspect render-report.json. Compare the changed scene with native decoded frames for the five unchanged scenes.

Boundaries

Never fake a command run, hide credentials or present illustrative output as evidence. Use only safe local commands and source notes. No automatic execution, remote screenshots or paid media generation is included.
