Kino Montage (Feed)

A vertical constructivist montage skill with diagonal paper bands, self-drawn evidence, counted cuts and a red verdict for short explainers and process stories.

Two reviewed 24.6-second English montage films with original geometry and local narration. 9:16 · 0:25

What you get

  • 1080×1920 / 30 fps MP4 (15–60 s), cover.jpg, captions.srt and layout.json
  • Warm paper, ink-black type, diagonal red bands and self-drawn evidence windows
  • A replaceable topic, claim and visual motif; no external footage is bundled
  • Local Kokoro English narration with burned captions; synthesized transition hits only
  • Scene-level editing: change one line and only that scene re-renders

You will need

  • Node.js 22+, FFmpeg and FFprobe on macOS
  • HyperFrames 0.8.181 and its local Kokoro voice model
  • A topic with a hook, three to five beats and a closing action
  • Only public-domain, CC0, properly licensed or self-drawn visual material

Good fit

  • Process explainers and systems stories
  • Editorial list videos with a clear count or sequence
  • Short history, design and technology narratives using diagrams or self-drawn evidence
  • Creators who want a dense poster-like feed frame with a strong red accent

Not for

  • Talking-head footage or photographic slideshows
  • Unverified news, medical or legal claims
  • Long-form explainers past 60 seconds or horizontal masters
  • Projects that need bundled music or third-party archive assets

You say

“Use Kino Montage (Feed) to turn a topic into a fast constructivist editorial montage. Confirm the beat list and source boundaries, then render with local Kokoro, burned captions and a scene-level edit handle.”

After installing, say something like this to your agent with your own topic and assets. It asks only for what is missing.

Details

A moving poster for your next story

Kino Montage (Feed) turns a short process or list into a vertical editorial film: warm paper, ink-black type, diagonal red bands, counted cuts and self-drawn diagrams. Give your Agent a hook, three to five beats and a closing action, then refine the story by scene.

Two reviewed examples

Both examples use the composition approved during the shared-core migration review. Their dense poster layout has an explicitly accepted subject-area exception; check readability again when you replace the words or diagrams.

What you get

  • A local 1080×1920 / 30 fps workflow for 15–60 second videos.
  • A hook, counted montage, diagram sequence and closing frame driven by your brief.
  • Local English Kokoro narration, burned captions and captions.srt.
  • layout.json, a render report, editable source and a scene-level revision workflow.
  • Two English example inputs with no bundled stock footage, music or personal voice.

Use it with your Agent

With an active membership, sign in and give the install prompt to Codex or Claude Code on macOS. Create each video in a separate project folder. Change a scene by its ID, review the revised film with sound and keep earlier projects for reuse.

Node.js 22+, FFmpeg/FFprobe and HyperFrames 0.8.181 are required. Optional local Kokoro narration downloads model data on first use. Agent-provider usage is billed by your provider. Use source material you have the right to publish; this Skill provides no media-generation credits.

The package includes the applicable code and font licenses. It is for short editorial explainers, lists and process stories; it does not establish the truth of your claims or guarantee audience growth.
